The Capital Area Public Health Network (CAPHN) and other regional partners comprising
New Hampshire’s Capital Area Public Health (PH) Region participated in the second phase
of regional public health capacity assessments conducted between the Fall 2009 and Spring
2010. The purpose of the assessment was to identify assets in the region and identify gaps
that may be addressed through regionalization. This capacity assessment is one component of
a three-part assessment process that also includes financial and governance assessments of
each public health region.
